JuJu Stevens on Baseball, Game Day, and Playing Under the Lights

Jenny had the opportunity to interview JuJu Stevens of the Trenton Thunder during our visit to the ballpark for a fun conversation about baseball, family, and the excitement of game day. JuJu shared that his father introduced him to baseball at a young age and inspired his love for the game. He also explained that his favorite part of baseball is playing in front of a packed crowd at Trenton, where the energy from the fans makes every game even more memorable.

JuJu also gave us a glimpse into his pregame routine, sharing that he likes to spend about 30 minutes relaxing before first pitch so he can be mentally prepared to compete. He talked about why he enjoys playing under the lights and even gave teammate Mike Whooley a shoutout for making practice the most fun.
