Anthony Volpe Meet & Greet in Morristown | NY Yankee Shortstop 

Meeting Anthony Volpe was definitely worth the wait! We stood outside ShopRite in Morristown in 102-degree weather for a long time, but thankfully we had an RWJBarnabas umbrella to help keep us cool. When it was finally my turn, I got to ask Anthony a few questions, including how playing for the Somerset Patriots helped prepare him for the New York Yankees.

I also reminded him about when he threw me a baseball during his rehab assignment with Somerset, and I told him I was still disappointed that I missed catching it! One of my favorite moments was giving Anthony a bracelet that I made for him. He smiled, thanked me, and put it on right away. He was so kind and took the time to make every fan feel special. It was an experience I'll never forget!
