Meeting Future New York Yankees Player Ben Rice

On July 18, 2024, I had the opportunity to meet Ben Rice, a former Somerset Patriots player who had recently been called up to the New York Yankees. It was exciting to meet someone who had worked so hard to reach the major leagues and was beginning a new chapter in his baseball career.

Ben was incredibly kind and easy to talk to, which made the meet-and-greet even more special. I gave him one of my bracelets and a drawing that I made, and he accepted them with a huge smile. We talked about his journey from the minor leagues to the Yankees and how excited he was for the opportunity ahead. It was an unforgettable experience, and I am grateful I had the chance to meet him during such an exciting time in his career.
